I w/ ya Tell but even listening to this less than stellar show I still find the Dead approahing the top of their game
Their loose enough to find an individual grove but they seem to be able to gel at any given point.
I realize the limitations Bobby presented Jerry other wise Bobby wouldn't have felt the need to be the stand up comedian (jester) that seemed to only give him humor (Yellow Dog Story).
Tedious? I'm agreeing w/ alot of that. So to put things back into pesective for me I need the first set of Live Dead I ever heard 1971-12-14 Ann Arbor and see if that don't shed new light on my query. Back to the drawing board

I can't get over Fresno...really. The city we mocked for my entire youth (the raison capitol of the world?), justified or not. South of Turlock for the unfamiliar. In any case, ever time I think of much less hear this show I just keep thinking about the city rather than the performance.

Have fun with your continued immersion!
